Telstra has warned of scammers using phishing emails to target customers following its announcement of commercial trials for 700MHz mobile phone technology in Sydney and Adelaide.

The phishing emails urge users to click a link to update their details. It also claims prizes will be awarded to the first 100 clients to respond and update their details.

This is a hoax. Clicking the link could result in malware being installed on your computer and your details being stolen.

If you receive this email, delete it.
