Google releases security updates for Chrome to address multiple vulnerabilities
10 February 2015
Alert Priority Moderate
You are advised to apply the latest Google Chrome security updates which address multiple vulnerabilities that remote attackers can exploit to control an affected system.
US-CERT noted last week that Google had released Chrome 40.0.2214.111 for Windows, Mac and Linux. US-CERT encouraged users and administrators to review the Google Chrome blog entry and apply the necessary updates.
According to Google, Chrome is among the software products that can automatically update if it detects that a new version of the browser is available.
