Household Communications expenditure as a proportion of total final household expenditure continues to rise.
Household final consumption expenditure is taken from the national accounts and is disaggregated into different areas of expenditure. This graph shows the amount of communications expenditure incurred by households on a quarterly basis as a proportion of total final household expenditure. This has risen from 1.2% in the June quarter of 1995 to 2.5% for the June quarter 2015.
