We are seeking feedback on the draft grant opportunity guidelines (the draft Guidelines) for Stage 2 of the Mobile Network Hardening Program (the Program). Further information is available on the Program's webpage.

Stage 2 is a competitive grants program that will support network hardening measures at high priority locations to prevent telecommunications outages during disaster events. For example, this may include upgrading back-up power capacity to a minimum of 12 hours, provision of redundant backhaul, flood elevation or hardening of a site or facility.

The draft Guidelines outline the eligibility criteria for participants and activities under Stage 2, the proposed assessment criteria, and the process for prospective applications.

We welcome your feedback on the draft Guidelines to ensure they meet the Program's objectives. Submissions close at 5pm 7 April 2021.
