The National Broadband Network (NBN) will eventually see a high-speed, multiple technology network replace the current copper-wire network across Australia. Part of this change is that NBN Co will eventually take over the network from Telstra.
Telstra needs a plan to make the changes that are needed. This is called a migration plan. It will outlining the steps that Telstra must take to disconnect voice and broadband services on its copper and hybrid fibre-coaxial (HFC) networks as people move to the fixed-line NBN.

Regulations for Telstra’s migration plan have been finalised in consultation with Telstra and NBN Co. The regulations describe what Telstra’s Migration Plan must cover.
