We are seeking stakeholder views on reforms options for the Copyright Act 1968.

How it works

Why we want your input
The government signalled in 2017 that it would consult on options for copyright reforms arising from the government’s response to a 2016 Productivity Commission report. This is your chance to express your preferred options and the reasons for your position.
How you can voice your opinion
You can voice your opinion by providing a submission to this public consultation process. Submissions are due by 4 July 2018.
What will be the outcome of this consultation?
Your submissions will help us establish whether there is general support for any of the proposed copyright reform options and inform our advice to the Australian Government.
