How our use of communication technology has changed since 1998.

We are a nation of early adopters, embracing technology and communication developments into our everyday lives. In under twenty years communication tools and the internet have been central to changing the way we live and work.

We have changed from being household consumers with one phone line and one computer, to individual communication consumers where nearly every adult is contactable by their own personal mobile phone number and email address.

We have taken a look back at how our use of communication technology has changed since 1998.
