The Mobile Black Spot Program has reached a new milestone this week, with Telstra switching on its 400th mobile base station under the program.

1 May 2018

Minister for Regional Communications, Senator Bridget McKenzie, attended the launch event for the new base station at Upper Chittering in Western Australia.

The switch on is the latest of the 867 base stations that will be delivered under all three rounds of the program, providing regional and rural Australians with access to next-generation mobile communications.

The pace of the rollout continues to increase, with the program well over the half way mark and hundreds of communities across Australia already receiving benefits.
