The next round of public consultations regarding regional telecommunications will occur in VIC, SA and NSW.

The Regional Telecommunications Independent Review Committee will conduct public consultations in the communities of Mildura, Renmark, Wagga Wagga and Griffith.

Residents and businesses are invited to come along to share their views and experiences with the Committee first hand.

The Committee is interested in hearing about the quality and accessibility of telecommunications services and how communities can maximise the social and economic benefits that digital technology provides.

The dates and times for the consultations are:

Mildura, VIC

  • Time: 11.00 am -12.30 pm

Renmark, SA

  • Time: 10.00 am – 11.30 am
  • Date: 4 July 2018
  • Venue: Renmark Hotel, Murray Avenue, Renmark

Wagga Wagga, NSW

  • Time: 11.30 am – 1.00 pm
  • Date: 5 July 2018
  • Venue: Commercial Club, 77 Gurwood Street, Wagga Wagga

Griffith, NSW

  • Time: 10.00 am – 11.30 am
  • Date: 6 July 2018
  • Venue: Griffith Ex-Servicemen's Club, 6/12 Jondaryan Ave, Griffith

The Committee will be travelling to Queensland the week commencing 9 July 2018 to hear from residents in Dalby, Longreach, Townsville and Cairns.
