Residents in NSW and Victoria are encouraged to attend the Regional Telecommunications Review 2018 public consultations.

The Regional Telecommunications Independent Review Committee are holding public consultations in Narrabri (NSW), Tamworth (NSW), Bairnsdale (Vic) and Hamilton (Vic) over the next two weeks. These will be the final public consultations.

The Committee would like to hear from the members of the public and any organisations about how communication services are impacting their home and work life.

The Committee particularly wants feedback on the quality and accessibility of residential internet and phone services and how these can be improved.

The public consultations have been running for over six weeks with the Committee travelling to more than 18 locations across the country.

    • Venue: Crossing Theatre, 117 Tibbereena Street, Narrabri
  • Tamworth, NSW
    • Time: 10:00am–11:30am
    • Date: Wednesday 25 July 2018
    • Venue: Ibis Styles Tamworth, 80–90 Ebsworth Street, Cnr Ebsworth and Bridge Street, Tamworth
  • Bairnsdale, Vic
    • Time:10:30am–12:00pm
    • Date: Tuesday 31 July 2018
    • Venue: Bairnsdale RSL, 2 Bairnsdale-Forge Creek Road, Bairnsdale
  • Hamilton, Vic
    • Time: 2:15pm–3:45pm
    • Date: Tuesday 31 July 2018
    • Venue: Hamilton Performing Arts Centre, 113 Brown Street, Hamilton.
