Duration rules that will apply from 1 January 2019.

Under the Copyright Amendment (Disability Access and Other Measures) Act 2017, new terms of protection will apply in Australia to copyright materials made on or after 1 January 2019, and to copyright materials made before 1 January 2019 that remain unpublished or otherwise not made public at that date. This includes works (including literary, dramatic, musical and artistic works), sound recordings and cinematograph films.
